An investigation is presented of the descent of a spacecraft with a large lift-drag ratio in the earth's atmosphere; it is assumed that the spacecraft is controlled with respect to roll angle, and side maneuver is taken into account. An analysis is presented of adaptive algorithms for the autonomous terminal guidance with prediction of the ultimate state of the motion. The efficiency of these algorithms in compensating deviations from the prescribed place of landing is evaluated.
