Numerical Integrator - Roundoff Error - Interpolation
Scientific paper
As compared with the classical form, the Adams- Cowell formulae with the first sum are preferred for their slower accumulation of the roundoff error. It is the most efficient method among the excising integrators for integrating the orbits with small eccentricities. Based on this method, the article lists the formulae for step by step integration, for initial procedure and for interpolation at the non-step points and further develops them in detail to fit the practical application.
