A numerical integration of the equations of motion is carried out for 24 fictitious particles located on the average orbit of the Quadrantid meteor stream, over a period of 300 years. The activity of the shower from the time of its discovery until 2050 is investigated on the basis of the solution of the model problem. It is shown that the formation of density waves in the meteor stream under the effect of planetary perturbations leads to the variation in its activity.
