A photographic sequence of Comet Halley was taken at the Simno Observation Station of the Yunnan Observatory from March 4 to 22, recording the large-scale activity of the plasma tail. The various phenomena are described in the present article, and it is suggested from the analyses that at least two disconnection events occurred on March 8-9 and 21, respectively. The observed results are in accordance with those obtained by the observers in other countries. Finally, the process of the activity of the plasma tail and the correlation between the activity of the plasma tail and the solar activity are preliminarily discussed.
