It is shown that compact nuclear radio sources are encountered about four times more frequently in the components of pairs of galaxies than in single isolated galaxies. The components of double galaxies also frequently have split, starlike, and semistellar nuclei (in accordance with the Byurakan classification /8-10/) in an active phase of evolution. The obtained results are in complete agreement with Ambartsumyan's concept of activity of galactic nuclei and the important role they play in the formation and evolution of galaxies.
