The areas near 36 accurate radio positions were examined on the Palomar Sky Survey. Positions of objects near the sources were derived with an rms accuracy of approximately 1.3 arcsec in each coordinate. Many of the sources selected for investigation had been identified with objects found to be stars. The accurate positions show that when selection effects are allowed for, the number of stars near radio sources is not significant. Nine possible new identifications are proposed, and finding charts are given.
