Photometric observations of eclipsing binaries from space will allow the study of minor, or second-order, effects in their light curves carrying important astrophysical information. A detailed analysis of limb-darkening, gravity brightening, or reflection, currently adopted as given by theoretical approaches, will be possible and we should be prepared for it. In addition, very precise photometric observations will permit the study of perturbed stellar structure in well-detached systems as a consequence of both rotation and tides, and a better insight into their interiors will be possible through stellar oscillations, either forced by the companion or not.
