We present numerical models of the disk-star boundary layer region in accreting neutron stars. We examine the size and temperature of the region which radiates the boundary layer luminosity, and the spectrum it will produce. We study the dependence of the boundary layer characteristics on mass accretion rate, stellar rotation rate, and alpha. We discuss the implications of these results for understanding X-ray production in low-mass X-ray binaries. .
