Attention is given to a method which allows one to obtain the solution of perturbed canonical or noncanonical systems using the known basic theory constructed by the Lie transform-based technique. Explicit expressions are obtained which take into account, either analytically or by numerical integration, the perturbations of forces that do not admit a potential form; existing basic theories are expanded by inclusion of the additional perturbations.
