The behavior of accelerated electrons escaping a high-temperature plasma inside a flare loop is investigated; it was assumed that the direct current of accelerated nonthermal electrons is balanced by the reverse current of surrounding cold-plasma particles. The fast-electron distribution function and the electric field of the reverse current were determined from the solution of the self-consistent kinetic problem, and the X-ray bremsstrahlung polarization was calculated. The effect of the reverse current upon the results is discussed.
