Strong absorption lines of previously unexplored heavy elements in
Sirius are analyzed in the near-UV region. Several lines of Mo II (Z =
42), Cd II (Z = 48), W II (Z = 74), and Pb II (Z = 82) are confirmed.
Detailed analyses of these lines suggest that abundances of these
elements are all nonsolar in Sirius.
