Published equivalent widths and microdensitometer tracings of high resolution spectra in the 3900-4650 A range are used to derive the abundances of 14 elements in the atmospheres of 20 sharp lined Hg-Mn stars, which were then compared with the normal AO IV star Gamma Gem by the differential curve-of-growth method. Although there are large relative abundance variations even among stars with similar effective temperatures, overall trends with effective temperature may exist for P, Sc, Mn, and Pt. While Pt excesses in the seven coolest stars are large and very similar, the isotropic composition of PT and Hg varies from star to star. Both accretion and diffusion mechanisms may be necessary to account for all the noted abundance patterns and anomalies.
