In order to calibrate stellar evolution and nucleosynthesis models, a selection of highly evolved AGB stars in the LMC and SMC have been observed to determine element abundances. These stars are more evolved than those studied by Smith et al.(2002). They require the use of dynamical atmospheres and pulsation models to determine the abundances. We present the data so far and detail some of the approaches started.
