The WIDTH6 atmosphere code of Kurucz (1979) is used to rederive atmospheric metal abundances for five A-type field horizontal-branch stars. Fe/H values for HD 2857 and HD 60778 are found to be -1.8 and -0.5 + or - 0.3, respectively, and the Fe/H abundances rederived from previously published equivalent widths for the cases of HD 86986, 109995, and 161817 are respectively -1.0, -0.5, and -1.0. No evidence is found for an s-process elements overdeficiency for the most metal-poor stars, nor for an Al/Fe dependence on the Fe/H ratio.
