HD 143807 is a known spectroscopic binary system. The primary component is an HgMn star and the secondary component is an early A star. We have used spectra obtained with GECKO, the spectrograph attached to the 3m60 telescope at CFH. The high resolution (R = 100000) of the composite spectrum allows to resolve the spectra of each component. For each component, we have determined the abundances of several species, the rotational velocity and the microturbulence velocity. Our results confirm that the primary is indeed an HgMn star and they indicate that the secondary has abundances close to solar.
