Eight spectra of the hot flare star, V833 Tauri, K5 Ve, covering the region from 3881 to 8520 A were analyzed using a spectrum synthesis technique. The rapid rotation reported by Vogt et al. (1983) was confirmed. The abundances were essentially solar in all cases. No excess lithium abundance was seen, consistent with a possible membership in the Hyades cluster.
