A detailed description of the absorption cross sections in a nitrogen plasma is given for electron temperatures of 1.0-3.0 eV and a plasma density of 0.78 times normal atmospheric density. Results are presented for partial and total absorption coefficients, where the components are the bound-bound, bound-free, and free-free absorptions. Rosseland and Planck mean opacities are also computed.
