Identifications and equivalent widths are presented for 1409 lines in the spectrum of the extreme helium-rich star HO 168476 in the wavelength range 3100 to 8000 Å. The equivalent widths of the interstellar Na 1(D) lines gives E(B-V) = 0m.11 for this star, with 1.6 ± 0.2 (s.e.) kms/s as the heliocentric radial velocity of the interstellar sodium. Evidence of small-scale spectral variations, found from a comparison of spectra covering the same wavelength regions and obtained within a 20 year period, is not conclusive though the possibility cannot be excluded.
