The interstellar circular polarization wavelength dependence for core-mantle (astronomical silicate-dirty ice) cylindrical grains with Davies-Greenstein alignment is computed. The effect of the grain size and grain alignment variation are discussed. It has been found that the form of curves and the wavelength λc on which the circular polarization sign changes are determined mainly by the grain size. The linear and circular polarization of HD 204827 are interpreted in the framework, of a two-cloud model.
