Relative intensity measurements of Al I and Al II spectral lines in the visible and ultraviolet spectral ranges are performed using a capacitively coupled high frequency double hollow electrode discharge. Branching ratios and intensity ratios within multiplets are determined. By using selected lifetimes absolute transition probabilites are calculated. The tables are also available in electronic form at the CDS via anonymous ftp to cdsarc.u-strasbg.fr (135.79.128.5) or via http://cdsweb.u-strasbg.fr/cgi-bin/qcat?J/A+A/388/704
