Absolute spectrophotometric results are presented for the coma of Comet Kohoutek 1973f for the nights of January 24 and 26, 1974. The data are corrected for sky, atmospheric extinction, and instrumental sensitivity and are normalized to a wavelength of 4700 A. Scale factors are used to convert the normalized intensity distributions into specific intensity expressed in watt per sq m per sr. The (0, 0) band of the delta v = 0 sequence of the violet system of the CN molecule is analyzed and column densities of 1700 trillion and 340 trillion per sq m are found for January 24 and 26, respectively.
