Spectrophotometric observations of the flux of galactic Wolf-Rayet (WR) stars in the visible region between 3100-8100 A are reported and compared with calibration measurements made of OB stars. Account was taken of atmospheric effects and redshifts in the observations, and attention was focused on the 3540, 4430, and 5550 A wavelengths in monochromatic magnitudes. Corrections were then made to previous data on the same objects, and comparisons were undertaken with data from hot stars and main sequence stars. It was found that WR stars are cooler than main sequence stars, and that WN7 and WN8, two WR stars, are examples of the most luminous of WR stars. HD 192641 of the WC7 + Be type is typical of the least luminous of the WR stars.
