The purpose of this letter is to give a simple and general view of the effect of an internal gravity wave field, on the angular momentum distribution inside the radiative zone of the Sun. It is shown that a quasi-solid rotation of the radiative zone of the Sun cannot be a direct consequence of the action of the gravity waves produced by the convective zone. After a brief description of the properties of gravity wave, I propose a very simple model of the role played, by internal gravity waves, on the angular momentum profile of the radiative zone of the Sun.
