This paper presents an updated review of studies on Ablative Laser
Propulsion conducted by the Laser Propulsion Group (LPG) at the
University of Alabama in Huntsville. In particular, we describe the
experimental technique developed for determination of specific impulses
from plasma plume imaging with an intensified CCD camera.
