We describe a wide-field survey for gravitationally lensed quasars conducted with the ESO/MPG 2.2m telescope at La Silla. The imaging portion of the survey is now complete; we have obtained direct CCD images of 1000 square degrees in UBR filters using the WFI mosaic detector down to a limiting magnitude of B=21. The survey's color information and excellent spatial sampling (0.24"/pixel) allows us to identify candidate gravitational lenses with image separations as close as 0.7", with an expected discovery yield of 1 lensed quasar every 100 square degrees. Here we present a summary of the survey observations and reductions to date, and preliminary results from follow-up observations obtained with the Magellan 6.5-m telescopes at Las Campanas.
