Gps, Virtual Instrument, Time Standard, Frequency Measure
Scientific paper
A virtual instrument is designed and implemented, which is applicable to the demonstration experiments for universities. This virtual instrument can measure the frequency of passive quartz crystal oscillator using the output 1PPS signal of GPS module as the time standard and accomplish the time synchronization and distance measurement using the GPS signals. The composition and design of the virtual instrument in both hardware and software are described. The way to realize the multifunction measurement based on the virtual instrument technique and GPS is mainly introduced and discussed.
