International Ultraviolet Explorer observations of the center of the
X-ray globular cluster NGC 6624 reveal an emission line spectrum. A
tentative identification needs a very large velocity of 10,000 km/sec. A
point source emits most of the UV flux with a continuum distribution. A
resolved expanding nebula would emit the emission line spectrum.
