We present an extension of the piecewise parabolic method (PPM) to multidimensional relativistic hydrodynamics. As in the original formulation, the algorithm combines a nonlinear Riemann solver, based on the `two-shock' approximation, with second-order accurate temporal evolution based on characteristic projection operators and piecewise parabolic reconstruction, which makes the scheme third-order accurate in space, away from discontinuities. We present an application of the code to the propagation of a relativistic jet.
