From the Catalogue of Radial Velocities of Galaxies, (Palumbo et al., 1983) and its updated extension (described by Tanzella-Nitti, 1984), a list of galaxies with highly consistent independent 21-cm radial-velocity determinations is extracted. The selection is also based on a critical comparison of different redshifts and the environmental and morphological properties of the objects. A final sample of 34 galaxies is presented in a table and proposed as a list of galaxies suitable for use as redshift calibrators.
