A large number of absolutely calibrated spectra of early type stars between 1350 and 2550 A has been obtained with the S2/68 sky survey telescope on board the TD1A satellite. More than 200 stars of type O to B6 have been studied. In a study of a sample of these spectra (Malaise et al., 1973), the large dispersion of the flux at 2100 A relative to the B-V index was tentatively attributed to interstellar reddening. In the present paper, the results and pecularities of a statistical analysis of the S2/68 data are illustrated. A two-component model is proposed to interpret the observed difference in the reddening characteristics of some clusters.
