A transmission filter for far-IR photometry in a spectral band at 30 microns is described. This filter consists of layers of inductive meshes embedded in a thermoplastic mixed with MgF2 and PbC12 powders. It is noted that the peak transmission is 50% and that the transmission profile remains practically unchanged between room temperature and 4 K. Radiation leaks in the spectral range from 2.5 to 25 microns are estimated to be less than 0.1%.
