The paper presents a three-dimensional diffusional model of a hydrogen cloud injected into the upper atmosphere, together with the results of calculations of hydrogen distributions at various altitudes and for different injected masses. The characteristics of hydrogen distribution in the cloud are discussed, and the effects of chemical interaction of H2 with atmospheric gases on the cloud dynamics and on the contents of charged components in the injection zone are investigated.
