The influence of the gravitational energy flow Hg* on the thermal characteristics of coronal plasma is considered. If the heating source is sufficiently strong (Hg* ≡ H*) the thermal regime of the corona is affected by the mass flow which, in turn, is controlled by the coronal structure. The regulation of the mass flow takes place near the transition zone, r ≅ r*, if rm > 2r*, and in the outer region r > rm, if rm < 2r* (rm is the heliocentric distance for the temperature maximum).
