Properties of an $\alpha,\beta$-symmetric Norlund sum are studied. Inspired
in the work by Agarwal et al., $\alpha,\beta$-symmetric quantum versions of
Holder, Cauchy-Schwarz and Minkowski inequalities are obtained.
