We present results of an X-ray survey of the Local Group spiral galaxy M33 (= NGC 598) done with the X-Ray Telescope (XRT) aboard the Swift Gamma-Ray Burst Explorer. We detected a total of 16 X-ray source with fluxes (in the 0.2 - 10 keV energy band) down to a flux limit of 2.9e-16 erg/cm2/s. Nine of these sources are new sources not found in the Chandra or XMM-Newton catalogues of X-ray sources in M33. Since both of these surveys go deeper than the Swift/XRT data does these new sources must have turned on since the previous survey data were taken. We present a preliminary catalogue of positions and hardness ratios of the M33 X-ray sources detected by Swift.
