The Cambridge One-Mile telescope has been used to map six rich clusters of galaxies in the Abell catalogue (A376, 576, 2125, 2218, 2319, 2666) and a reference area of blank sky, which are being observed for diminutions in the microwave background. In all, 48 sources have been detected, down to limiting flux densities of about 200 mJy at 408 MHz and 20 mJy at 1407 MHz. Contour maps of the more interesting sources are presented, and some optical identifications are proposed. No aggregation of sources to the clusters has been found. The sources detected are unable to provide significant heating of the intracluster medium, nor can they provide the observed X-radiation by the inverse Compton mechanism, even if they all lie within the clusters.
