The paper discusses observations of wide-spectrum 1.35-cm H2O emission from the following sources: H2O 327.3-0.6, H2O 331.0-0.2, H2O 331.5-0.1, NGC 6334N, M 17, W 51, and Orion A. Observations of previously detected wide-spectrum features in three sources (W 49N, Sgr B2, H2O 34.3+0.1) are reviewed, and the properties of the present sources are described. It is shown that the present emission lines are displaced by at least 15 km/s above and below the main emission features, the main H2O lines are associated with OH emission lines at 18 cm in all cases but one, and the main features usually have velocities within 10 km/s of the H 109-alpha recombination line from the associated H II region. The maser sources in W 49N, Sgr B2, and Orion A are found to be distributed over an elongated region with an axial ratio of about 5:1. It is concluded that the wide-spectrum emission is produced either by large radial motions within the H II regions or by stimulated Raman scattering.
