A survey is presented of bimolecular positive ion-molecule reactions with potential importance to the chemistry of planetary atmospheres, cometary comae, and interstellar clouds. All reactions observed at temperatures less than 1000K and reported in the literature from 1965 to 1985 are intended to be included in the survey. Over 300 references are cited. A few reactions unreported in the general literature are included as a result of a poll of investigators currently active in the field. The table of reactions is listed by reactant ion, and cross-references are provided for both the ionic and the neutral reactants and also for both the ionic and the neutral products.
