Dwarf Carbon (dC) stars are low-mass main-sequence stars with a high C/O ratio >1, which is an evidence that once mass was transferred from a more massive AGB Carbon-star companion during an earlier evolutionary phase in a close binary system. As such dC stars are tracers of stellar binarity and of strong pollution processes. Thus they are promising clues to study the impact of the dense environment of globular clusters on the evolution of binary stars. In this poster we outline a survey for dC stars on the main sequence of three nearby globular clusters conducted at the ESO/VLT telescope and present a first sample of photometrically selected dC star candidates in Omega Cen.
