Radial velocities of a sample of OB stars have been used to fit a two-dimensional model of the galactic field of velocities in the solar neighborhood. The model takes into account solar motion, galactic rotation, spiral structure, and local kinematic effects. Analysis of the stellar velocity field is carried out via series of orthogonal functions. The results indicate that Gould's belt kinematics is clearly separated from that of the spiral arms, and is indeed a local feature. Concerning the rotation curve and the characteristics of the spiral structure in the solar neighborhood, a good agreement is found with the results obtained in some cases using different approaches.
