The TiO2 nano-particles were incorporated into the EP648 epoxy and the M40/EP648 composite, and their effects on resistance to radiations of VUV and charged particles were investigated. Experimental results show that under the irradiations of VUV, electrons and protons, the incorporation of TiO2 nano-particles into the EP648 and the M40/EP648 reduces the mass loss noticeably, and increases the bend strength and the interlayer shear strength remarkably. The radiation damage mainly occurred in the epoxy matrix, and the TiO2 nano-particles could reduce the damage to a great extent.
