A line transfer scheme for UV resonance lines in Zeta Aur systems is
developed on the basis of the escape probability method. The results
show a strong dependence of line profile shapes on binary phases.
Calculated profiles qualitatively explain resonance lines observed in
the IUE spectra of Zeta Aur and 32 Cyg.
