A search for rotational modulation of the linear polarization of 16
Psyche is presented. This object has been found to show a polarimetric
variation with rotation, suggesting that the surface of the asteroid is
variegated. A period of 0.1753 +/- 0.0004 d and a total amplitude of
0.12 percent for the polarization change were derived.
