Systematic (up to 0.5-1 m) and random (up to +/-0.5 m) errors in brightness estimates for stars in the CdC and AGK catalogs are determined through a comparison with photoelectric stellar magnitudes in the B system. When using stellar magnitudes from these catalogs, the magnitude values should be adjusted for the scaling and zero-point errors, and a conversion should be made from star image diameters (CdC or m(pg) (AGK) to B magnitudes.
