Published photoelectric minima times for the eclipsing binary U Oph, based on observations made from 1950 to 1978, are analyzed. Examination of the O-C curve on the assumption that it represents the motion of the eclipsing system about the barycenter of a triple system, a period of 27.55 years can be estimated, although a definitive determination of the multiplicity of the system will not be obtainable for another 25 years. Using the estimated period, third-body masses are calculated for third-body inclinations of 30, 60, and 90 deg; namely, 1.18, 0.66, and 0.57 solar mass.
