This is a proposal to probe the nature of dust in the open cluster Trumpler 37. One cluster member, HD 204827, has been found to possess an extremely anomalous ultraviolet extinction curve which resembles the average LMC extinction. The fact that this star is a member of a cluster provides a valuable opportunity to study other dust lying at the same distance along nearby lines of sight. The observing sample contains stars which will allow the dust to be mapped in 3 dimensions to look for spatial variations in the extinction characteristics.
