Zeeman splitting in Si II 6347, 6371-A lines of B Lyr was measured in 1991-92 with a Stokes meter and a CCD detector. The existence of a magnetic field on the surface of the bright component of this interacting binary system (Skulskij, 1982) is confirmed. The effective magnetic field strength varies synchronously with the orbital period phase. However, a different behavior of magnetic curves for different silicon lines is suspected. The intensity of the magnetic field decreases in the external layers of the stellar atmosphere of the loosing component. Data are also obtained which support the existence of a magnetic field also in the second component of the Beta Lyrae interacting.
