Observation from Siberian Solar Radio Telescope (lambda = 5.2 cm) were used to study a relationship between small flares and microwave bursts. In the complex of activity under investigation the degree of relationship increased as the flares approached sunspots as well as with an increase in their brightness. It is also pointed out that the degree of relationship increases prior to the transition of the complex of activity from the quiet to the disturbed state which is characterized by the appearance of powerful flares.
