The effect of a change of ambient temperature on the differential photometry with an unrefrigerated phototube was investigated. Photoelectric observation of an A2 and a G5 star yielded a linear relation between the change in the differential magnitude and the ambient temperature. The values of the coefficients are 0.0014 and 0.0013 mag/C for the instrumental yellow and blue observations, respectively.
