Charging characteristics of dust grains are analyzed, and typical
parameters of dust plasmas in comets are computed. Discussion is made
for Comet Halley and Comet G-Z, and some main regularities of the
equilibrium potential of dust grains are found. Generally speaking,
these regularities can also be applied to the plasmas of other comets.
